Attention RPG Fans: Those who, after playing Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous for nearly 500 hours, still can’t get enough of Golarion’s adventures, rejoice. Because with the first story DLC Inevitable Excess, the plot continues, and it does so quite quickly. In addition, a first set of images is available.

Will the heroes become time travelers?
Unfortunately, little is still known about the story of Inevitable Excess. In their official press release, the developers only reveal this:
“The Inevitable Excess DLC will take players on new adventures, just before the moment of their greatest triumph: victory over the World Wound. Players will leave Golarion and use unprecedented mythic powers to defend the space-time continuum from impending collapse.
What does this statement tell us? Well, in light of the mention of the fabled space-time continuum, we’re indulging in speculation that our heroes may need to travel back in time to fend off a threat or repair its damage. It remains to be seen whether we are correct in making this assumption.
In any case, there is already food for the spoiled eyes of role-playing gamers. Indeed, the first four images of the DLC already make you want to know more – and also underline the thematic focus on time. Indeed, you can see in many places of the decor bells, gears or clocks linked to it.
The exit is also not very far! If your fingers are itchy, don’t panic: Inevitable Excess will be available from February 15, 2022, either as part of the Season Pass or as a separate individual purchase.
