As “CBS” reports, several sources from the closest environment of “TB12” should still be convinced that the future Hall of Famer is preparing for his resignation and will soon make an official statement.
“He has a lot of respect for the game and the Tampa organization and everything they’ve done for him,” said a source close to the quarterback, but not identified.
And further: “He understands the impact this decision would have on the team and he would never want to do anything that could jeopardize the playoffs. Whatever he decides, I expect him to announce it soon.”
The 44-year-old has yet to be specific about his plans, but according to the report, many teammates and close associates believe he went into this postseason knowing it would be his last rodeo — regardless of the event Outcome of the playoffs.
