miHoYo has officially announced Genshin Impact Update 2.5, bringing details of what’s to come. Called “Sakura Blossom”, this version’s update brings a new region called Enkanomiya, a new item called Bokuso’s Box, and new characters like Yae Miko, the High Priestess of Narukami Grand Shrine.
As the Raiden Shogun story continues in Inazuma, Yae Miko arrives as a 5-star Electro character. Through her Elemental and Supreme Ability, Miko can deal constant damage outside the field while also dealing high burst damage inside. The Prayer of Yae Miko event will be available shortly after the release of Update 2.5, and then there will also be Prayers of Raiden Shogun and Kokomi Sangonomiya.
Seasonal Event “Offering Portal of the Three Kingdoms”
During the seasonal event “Offering Portal of the Three Kingdoms”, which will take place in the Enkanomiya region, players will receive a special item called Bokuso’s Box. This item will help you resist the corrosive darkness of the area, gain new abilities and defeat certain creatures.
To level up the Bokuso Box, completing objectives, getting points, and opening chests can help. The “Offering Portal of the Three Kingdoms” event will last until the end of Genshin Impact version 2.5. In the meantime, players will be able to earn rewards such as Essential Gems and the new four-star catalyst called “Eye of the Oath”.

In Inazuma, more specifically in the Enkanomiya region, players will find Defenders, Flag Bearers and Line Breaker. These three types of Void Armor will have a weapon, elemental energy, and various abilities. The Banner Bearer, for example, has an attack that hits a character who is being shielded and creates a shield for him and the Armor of the Void around him. At the same time, on the other side of Inazuma, a strong creature from the Decimated Domain will appear that will continue the story of Raiden Shogun.
“Divine Ingenuity” Event
In the “Divine Ingenuity” event, players will be able to create their own domain. There, participants will be able to customize the location with different types of terrain, mechanics, traps, buffs, and completion criteria. There will also be the possibility to try out the design created by other players.
Launch and availability

Developed by miHoYo studio, Genshin Impact was released on September 28 for PC, PS4, Android and iOS. A few months later, in November, the title was released for Nintendo Switch. On May 28th, Genshin Impact won a PS5 version.
