Blizzard is working on a “new survival game for PC and console”, according to a recent publication made on the developer’s website. According to the studio, the game will be set in an entirely new universe, with no connection to fantasy and science fiction, something that is remarkable in Blizzard titles. Although there are still few details, the fan community has already been excited about the news.

The news about the survival game’s development was revealed in the form of an announcement of job vacancies for developers. Check out below how it was written by the studio in the publication:
“Blizzard is embarking on our next mission. We’re heading on a journey to a whole new universe, home to a new survival game for PC and console. A place full of heroes we haven’t met yet, stories yet to be told and adventures. yet to be lived. A vast realm of possibilities, waiting to be explored.”
In the Blizzard ad there is an art of a soldier in the middle of a crouching forest in light armor, an animal skull on his head. In the text we also have another image with two teenagers in an urban environment in a fantasy world, where there is a castle floating in the background.
Launch and availability
The release date of the new survival game (survive) from Blizzard is still a mystery, but it is known that the game project is in development. Blizzard Entertainment boss Mike Ybarra says on Twitter:
