“It is time to really learn to live with the virus. It is time to give hope to Quebecers,” said party leader Dominique Anglade.

To achieve this, the latter makes several suggestions to the Prime Minister, including the creation of “the COVIE-19 unit which will have to coordinate efforts to reopen and maintain activities with partners from different sectors”.

A logo with the slogan “Let’s collaborate to live better with the virus” has already been designed by the PLQ.

Dominique Anglade also proposes the establishment of an independent scientific committee that would be led by the chief scientist of Quebec.

She also wants long-term supply plans for protective equipment, screening tests, vaccines, drugs and ventilation equipment.

The PLQ also demands that Premier Legault’s press briefings on the COVID-19 situation in Quebec be held without the presence of public health.

“Our restaurateurs, our entrepreneurs, our artists, our schoolchildren, in short, all Quebecers need more predictability and transparency to ensure the success of the next reopening and no longer close,” said a press release issued by the party.
