Canadian: no spectators at the Bell Center until at least mid-February


Supporters of the Montreal Canadiens will still not be admitted to the Bell Center in the first half of February, despite the authorization from Public Health to accommodate 500 people in the large amphitheatres within ten days.

According to what TVA Sports channel hockey expert Renaud Lavoie reported on Friday, the minimum authorized by the Quebec government is insufficient for the team, which will play in front of empty stands the games of 8, 10, 12 and 13. February.

Still according to Lavoie, the Canadian will open only a few boxes for these meetings.

Including Thursday’s game against the Anaheim Ducks, the Habs began an eight-game home streak, which will conclude Feb. 17 with the visit of the St. Louis Blues.
