THE POCO M4 Pro 5G passed through the hands of Anatel (National Telecommunications Agency) and received the Certificate of Technical Conformity — a document that authorizes the launch and sale of the device in Brazil. Launched in the global market in November last year, the device integrates an intermediate technical sheet with a focus on cost-effectiveness, especially with 5G technology. Although approved, its launch in Brazil is still a mystery.
POCO M4 Pro 5G is approved by Anatel
The documentation reveals the date of December 23, 2021, but only now did the document appear in Anatel’s system. Requested by DL Electronics, the device is identified by the code 21091116AG, the same one that appears in the FCC base, a kind of Anatel of the United States.
Unlike other devices certified by the agency, only the Approval Certificate was made available in the system. Other types of material, such as actual photos of the device, dimensions, battery and technology used for connectivity were not released by the agency.

screen and processing
Compared to its predecessor, the POCO M4 Pro 5G now has a larger screen: 6.6 inches. However, it maintains IPS LCD technology, Full HD+ resolution and supports content with 90Hz refresh rate, 240 Hz touch sampling, and even has a small hole in the screen to house the 16 MP front camera.
Under the hood, the device comes equipped with the chipset MediaTek Dimensity 810, ready to support 5G in addition to configurations with 4GB or 6GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage at UFS 2.2 standard. If you need more space, the phone supports a microSD card.
Cameras, battery and extra features
The rear camera array is led by a 50 MP main sensor, but it also has an 8 MP ultrawide lens. Compared to its predecessor, the POCO M4 Pro 5G has one less lens, but probably to offer more quality, as the macro and bokeh sensors, which generally offer a very low resolution, have been removed.
The energy issue is well attended by the 5,000 mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. In the rest of the specifications, we highlight the Android 11 operating system, which runs under the MIUI 12.5 interface, in addition to the possibility of expanding the RAM memory, thanks to virtual RAM technology.
The POCO M4 Pro 5G also has dual-SIM technology, dual-band WiFi, NFC for proximity payments, P2 port for wired headphones and an integrated fingerprint reader on the side.

On the outside, the POCO M4 Pro 5G can be found in “power black” (black), “cool blue” (blue) and “yellow” (yellow) colors. In Brazil, it is possible that only the classic yellow is not available, following the same strategy as when the POCO M3 Pro 5G was launched here. Price and release date are still a mystery.
