The project will benefit the communication of Brazilians in various parts of the country, from the busiest places, such as large capitals, as well as federal highways and regions further away from large metropolises. Faced with the news, you may wonder if your cell phone is compatible with this technology.
In this article, we list all smartphones that are officially sold in Brazil and that already have 5G support, technology that is already available in 65 countries, but is only now heading to be officially launched in Tupiniquin lands.
5G compatible cell phones in Brazil
We list the models of each manufacturer, according to the list released by Anatel (National Telecommunications Agency). It is worth remembering that all of them are officially sold in Brazil, and therefore, we have entered the current values in stores and marketplaces in the Brazilian market.

Is it possible to use 5G in Brazil?
The 5G auction that will determine the operators and other companies that will take care of the technology infrastructure in Brazil took place this Thursday, November 4th. Companies like Claro, TIM and Vivo already appear as winners in the 3.5 GHz lot, the most coveted among operators, since it offers greater speed and signal quality.
But while the technology development operations still don’t happen, some cities and neighborhoods have a simplified version of the fifth generation network, which is known as 5G DSS. However, the full potential of 5G will only begin to be realized after operators install antennas and other equipment for the technology infrastructure.
