“In a context of labor scarcity, the digital shift is essential to the success of Quebec businesses,” declared in a press release Pierre Fitzgibbon, Minister of Economy and Innovation (MEI) and Minister responsible for Regional economic development.

These millions should make it possible to support more than 2,000 businesses, while Quebec badly needs to step up the pace.

For example, Quebec is injecting $6.48 million into the Network of Industrial Expertise Centers (RCEI), $3 million into the Digital Governance Institute (IGN) and $2.8 million into Sensation mode.

The MEI also supports the Regroupement des cabinets de courtage d’assurance du Québec ($3.76 million), the Food Processing Council of Quebec ($2.64 million), the Mouvement québécois de la qualité ($2.37 million $), the Quebec Apparel Manufacturers Institute ($2 million), and Events Attractions Quebec ($1.5 million).
