Drama in Arvida: touching call to ‘celebrate life beyond drama’
The two children who lost their lives two weeks ago in an explosion caused by their father in Saguenay were taken to their final resting place on Sunday afternoon during a moving ceremony.
“It's the drama that has always been in the foreground. So today is the time to celebrate the two children, so to celebrate their lives,” said priest Mario Tremblay before the ceremony at the Complexe funéraire Chicoutimi.
The room was decorated with flowers, balloons, toys and colorful clothes, like the lively little boys, Félix Lalancette, 2, and his brother, Édouard, 6 months.
