Winning streak extended to five for Penguins
(Pittsburgh) – Sidney Crosby scored the only goal in the shootout and the Pittsburgh Penguins came from behind to beat the Winnipeg Jets 3-2 on Sunday.
Kasperi Kapanen and Jeff Carter hit the target within nine seconds of the third period to help the Penguins recover from a two-goal deficit.
The Pittsburgh squad trailed for more than 40 minutes before regrouping and extending their winning streak to five.
