While a new confinement is being organized in France to fight against Covid-19, the exceptional travel certificate will be available on TousAntiCovid in order to be completed directly from the application for those who wish it.
In France, a new period of confinement begins from Thursday, October 29 at midnight in order to contain the Covid-19 pandemic. This is indeed what the President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron announced in his last speech. As in the spring, a derogatory certificate will be required to travel to do shopping, go to work (when telework is not possible), see a doctor, etc. However, and it is good to know, you can complete this document directly from the TousAntiCovid application.
As a reminder, TousAntiCovid succeeded StopCovid, the first application of contact tracing not having met the expected success, far from it. The new platform is intended to be easier to use with a revised design and more educational by delivering several indicators to monitor the evolution of the situation in this health crisis.
From a simple link to a QR Code
According to BFM sources, the exceptional travel certificate will be made available on TousAntiCovid at the time of a future update. Right now, the app is content to simply display a link to the Home Office website (see image of Une) – to complete the form put in place under the curfew.
Soon, the certificate will therefore be directly available on TousAntiCovid which will then generate a QR Code to scan in the event of a police check. At the time of this writing, the application put in place by the authorities shows 4.6 million downloads (this estimate takes into account downloads from StopCovid). This number is therefore likely to increase after said update.
Note that if you do not want to use the application, you will still be able to download the certificate from the website of the Ministry of the Interior to have it on your smartphone.
