Xiaomi Black Shark 4 Pro – Launch and Specifications
The phones will be released today March 26 in China, while the rest of the world launch will occur in the near future.
Black Shark has outperformed Asus and RedMagic – one of its competitors in the gaming phone niche – in terms of touch sample rate or how many times the screen can register a touch. Both the Black Shark 4 and 4 Pro have a 720Hz sample rate with an 8.3ms touch delay, which it claims to be the best in the industry. While this feature won’t make much of a difference for day-to-day users, gamers will notice the difference.
Both phones have mechanical buttons on one side introduced in the previous Black Shark series, although the company claims that it has improved their look with ‘magnetic power lift’ technology, making them more tactile on the click. Speaking of the new look of the phones, they are definitely more attractive than previous models.
The phones still have the pressure-sensitive screen that they already had on previous models. Unlike last year’s models, the Black Shark 4 and 4 Pro have screens of the same size. They are 6.67-inch OLED screens and a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz.
