The Samsung Galaxy A72 has not yet been formalized by Samsung. Nevertheless, the OnLeaks leaker has released 3D renderings of the mid-range smartphone with a design very close to that of its predecessor.
While Samsung has already officially presented its new Galaxy A42 and the Galaxy A52 and A32 have been leaked, it is the turn of the Samsung Galaxy A72 to be leaked with the release of 3D renderings .
This Wednesday, Steve Hemmerstoffer, better known by his pseudonym OnLeaks, posted on his Voice page several images representing Samsung’s mid-range smartphone. Visuals that allow you to discover the smartphone screen, but also its connections, its back or its photo module.
According to information from leaker French, the Samsung Galaxy A72 was to be equipped with a 6.7-inch flat screen with a punch in its upper part to integrate a selfie camera. On the edges, we would find at the bottom a USB-C socket and a 3.5 mm jack output. On the right, Samsung would have placed the power and volume buttons.
A large phot module for a 64 megapixel main sensor
It is especially on the back that the Galaxy A72 should stand out. The Korean manufacturer would have chosen to integrate four cameras, including three large format. The main module should notably benefit from a definition of 64 megapixels, but it is not yet clear what the other three modules will be used for.
The Samsung Galaxy A72 is expected to succeed the Galaxy A71 announced just a year ago. In terms of design, the two smartphones are very similar with the same screen size. The main difference seems to be in the organization of the rear photo module. Logically, the Samsung Galaxy A72 should position itself as the top of the Galaxy A range. As a reminder, the Galaxy A71 was launched in France at 479 euros. A 5G version, launched in April, was offered in the United States at 600 dollars.
It is therefore between 500 and 600 euros that we can expect the Samsung Galaxy A72, given the 5G compatibility of the smartphone.
