Xiaomi will globally roll out its new version MIUI 12 based on Android 11 on many models. We are talking about Android 11 and not Android 10. In short, follow the guide!

MIUI 12, we have already discovered and taken in hand. This is the software interface that will equip all smartphones in the Xiaomi family, including the Redmi but also the Poco. With its MIUI interface, Xiaomi has always set itself apart in the Android ecosystem, offering a very different approach from that of Google. Nevertheless, she was still groomed. We are talking here about the MIUI 12 interface based on Android 11, and not Android 10.

In January, Xiaomi rolled out its update to the Redmi K30 series, but also the Mi Note 10 Lite as well as the Mi A3. There were several issues with the Mi A3 – the update stuck some phones – but Xiaomi fixed the issues and a stable version is now available for this model. Then the Mi 10T and 10T Pro were entitled to MIUI 12 with Android 11.

We have already communicated a list in the past, here is an updated list of Xiaomi models that will benefit from MIUI 12.

You will notice that some models already have MIUI 12 but do not appear in this list. They actually have a version of MIUI 12 based on Android 10, and not Android 11. This is the case of the Mi Mix 3 and 2, the Mi Max, the Redmi 6, 7 and 8, or even the Redmi Note 7 and 8.
