The Xiaomi Mi 11 could also arrive sooner than expected

Xiaomi could also advance the release of its next flagship, like Samsung and OnePlus. The Mi 11 would then be available from January.

After a year 2020 particularly disrupted by the health crisis, the year 2021 could also adopt a different calendar of habits. No delay this time, but ahead, according to the various rumors concerning the various manufacturers generally launching their smartphones in the first half of the year.

Advance for the Xiaomi Mi 11

According to leaker Chinese Digital Chat Station, rather famous for its many proven predictions, the Xiaomi Mi 11 should be presented as early as next month as production capacities are increased. Thus, this new generation of smartphones could be available as early as January, or even at the end of December.

This claim is far from surprising, other manufacturers have supposedly advanced their schedules as well. Thus, the Samsung Galaxy S21 would also be released in January, while the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro would be expected in March, a month earlier than usual.

Qualcomm ahead of the Snapdragon 8xx?

These three smartphones all have a peculiarity: they are high-end smartphones usually embedding a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 series chip. It could therefore be that the Californian specialist in SoCs is ahead of its schedule this year. Remember in particular that Xiaomi is usually a partner of choice for Qualcomm and generally markets the first smartphone equipped with a series 8 chip.

Recall that Qualcomm will hold its Snapdragon Tech Summit this week and should therefore present its new mobile platform. Lei Jun, CEO of Xiaomi, and Kyle Kiang, CMO of OnePlus, will speak at the event, as will Mitsuya Kishida, President of Sony Mobile.

Improved screen

Still according to Digital Chat Station, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro should be equipped with a QHD + screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. For comparison, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro offers FHD + in 90 Hz. ‘also expects a 48 Mpx ultra-wide-angle sensor and certainly a very pronounced emphasis on the photo part of the smartphone.

All this still remains to be taken in the conditional as long as Xiaomi does not confirm the information.
