Included in the Philips Hue starter kit, the two White & Color E27 smart bulbs light up in no less than 16 million colorful shades to create a personalized atmosphere at any time in a room. You can easily modulate the intensity and color of the bulbs directly from the Philips Hue app, available on iOS and Android. On the latter, it will also be possible to program the switching on or off of the connected lights, or even simulate a presence by switching them on even when you are not at home. And as said previously, the bulbs can just as easily be controlled by voice thanks to Alexa, Google Assistant or even Siri.

To operate these bulbs, the Hue connection bridge will be essential to benefit from a long range, because Philips Hue bulbs use the Zigbee protocol, and not Wi-Fi. This solution is also less energy intensive. The bridge must be connected to your Internet box: the bulbs will be immediately ready to light up after that. The kit also contains a wireless remote control to be installed on its wall bracket: it will also allow you to turn on, turn off and modulate the brightness of your bulbs.

Finally, Philips Hue does not stop there: the pack also includes a Hue Play light bar, which has the advantage of synchronizing with your compatible movies or video games. The immersion will only be increased tenfold. Installed on a wall or laid flat near a TV, this smart light can transform the atmosphere of your room. And if you want to whip up a little homemade backlight, all you need to do is place the Hue Play behind your TV screen. Smart.
