The OnePlus 9 Pro would be prone to overheating issues

Many users complain about overheating on their brand new OnePlus 9 Pro. The Chinese brand has already reacted to these testimonials and will soon offer a software update.

Several users complain of overheating, the problem has been widely reported by Android Police. We can find dozens of comments on this subject on the official OnePlus forum where testimonies multiply. The OnePlus 9 Pro is reportedly way too hot with associated error messages.

A link with the camera?

It is still difficult to find the fault of this overheating, nevertheless it would be related to the use of the camera. The Verge has already contacted OnePlus on this subject which mentioned the arrival of a software patch in the coming weeks.

OnePlus had communicated a lot about the heat dissipation of its new phone, especially with the new wireless fast charging feature. Based on user feedback, this is a software issue, not a hardware issue. We will know more very soon, while waiting OnePlus advises those affected by this problem to simply contact customer support.
