Samsung has recently lifted the veil on its new mid-range smartphones, including the Galaxy A52 (and its 5G version). The announcement was only a few days ago, but some merchants are already running a promotion. Find all the details below.
It was during yet another Unpacked conference that we were able to discover the new Samsung Galaxy A52, and its 5G version. Two mid-range smartphones which naturally succeed the very good A51, and which, it is clear, have as good a quality / price ratio as their predecessor by being launched from the same price: or 379 euros.
Where to buy them?
The Samsung Galaxy A52 is sold at 379 euros at most e-merchants. Except at Fnac, at Darty and on Boulanger, where it is possible to obtain an additional reduction of 50 euros thanks to choosing the withdrawal in store and by bringing back an old used smartphone (in working condition). Without forgetting the ODR valid until April 7, 2021 which also allows you to get a free pair of Galaxy Buds + wireless headphones.
La version 5G du Samsung Galaxy A52 take advantage of the same offer from the aforementioned French resellers, its price then drops from 449 to 399 euros.
All about the Galaxy A52 and A52 5G
Aesthetically, there is no difference between the Samsung Galaxy A52 and its 5G version. The two smartphones offer a design with a borderless tendency, with a punch centered at the top of the screen and a plastic back where the photo module is housed. The differences will mainly be at the level of the technical sheet.
The screen is identical, 6.5-inch AMOLED displaying a Full HD + definition of 2400 x 1080 pixels, but the 4G version has a refresh rate of 90 Hz while the 5G compatible model can go up to 120 Hz One is also more powerful than the other. The classic A52 has a 720G Snapdragon while the A52 5G includes a 750G Snapdragon. In both cases, you will benefit from a perfectly fluid user experience, moreover with Android 11 directly installed, but the last mentioned will be able to push the graphics more to the maximum in game.
However, they are housed in the same boat for the photo. There is a triplet with a main sensor of 64 megapixels (f / 1.8), an ultra wide-angle of 12 megapixels (f / 2.2) and a macro of 5 megapixels (f / 2.4). Versatility will therefore be there, with a quality of the shots that will certainly be there when the right lighting conditions are met. However, we will have to wait for a full test to see if they can do even better.
Likewise for autonomy, each is equipped with a 4,500 mAh battery, which is the average in the Android world to last at least a whole day. Via the USB-C port, they will finally recharge quite quickly thanks to the 25 W power supply unit supplied with it.
