The Motorola Moto G50 and Moto G100 arrive in France: 5G on the menu

Motorola formalizes the launch of its new Moto G50 and Moto G100, available in France from mid-April.

The manufacturer Motorola is boosting its mid-range offering with the Moto G50 and G100. Expected in France for this month, the pair was the subject of an official press release for their launch in France. The Moto G100 does not create any surprises since its induction into the Spanish market had already revealed all its technical sheet.

Moto G100: price and availability

6.7-inch IPS LCD screen, Full HD + definition, 90Hz refresh rate, Gorilla Glass 3, jack, Wi-Fi 6 and a beautiful 9.69mm thickness are on the menu. To offer 5G, the phone has a Snapdragon 870 processor, coupled with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage expandable via microSD up to 1 TB.

In terms of the photo, count on a main sensor of 64 megapixels (f / 1.7), an ultra wide-angle of 16 megapixels (117 degrees, f / 2.2), a depth sensor of 2 megapixels (f / 2,4) and a ToF sensor. At the front, two cameras have been installed: one of 16 megapixels, and the other for the ultra wide angle of 8 megapixels.

Add to this formula a 5000 mAh battery and a 20 W rapid recharge. For its launch, the Moto G100 is accompanied by the Ready For solution, a dock that is “connects to a monitor or computer with the included HDMI cable“. By placing the smartphone on it, it turns into an office platform.

The Moto G100 will be available from mid-April at a price of 549 euros.

Moto G50: 5G at a low price

For its part, the Moto G50 is more aimed at the entry of the mid-range. The device offers a 6.5-inch LCD screen, HD + definition (1600 x 720 pixels) and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. Under its cover is a Snapdragon 480 chip equipped with a 5G modem and coupled with 4 GB of RAM.

Three rear sensors are required: the main 64-megapixel camera, a 5-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, a single 13 megapixel lens has been installed. Everything is supported by a 5000 mAh battery and a storage capacity of 64 GB (expandable up to 512 GB).

The Moto G50 will be available from mid-April at a price of 249 euros.
