An Indian store would claim to have the release date of the Galaxy S21, confirming that Samsung has advanced its usual schedule.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 seems eager to come out in the open. After certification by the national telecommunications agency in Brazil and the leak of an official teaser, the officialization date seems to be emerging more precisely.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 in January
The rumor was more insistent than usual this year: the Samsung Galaxy S21 – or rather THE Galaxy S21 since this range would again be available in three models – would be expected for the month of January, a month earlier therefore than in previous years. Information which seems to be clarified according to Android Authority.
The managers of one of the main Samsung stores in India have confirmed to the specialized media that Galaxy S21 announcement to take place on January 14 for a release about a week later (in India at least). Last year, the Galaxy S20s were presented on February 11, almost a month later.
Note that this may be linked to a possible advance from certain suppliers, and in particular Qualcomm. Several smartphones equipped with the Snapdragon 888 should thus be made official during the month of January, including the Xiaomi Mi 11.
Fewer colors for the Galaxy S21 Ultra
Still according to information from Android Authority, the Samsung Galaxy S21 would be available in gray, pink, purple and white and the Galaxy S21 + in pink, purple, silver (gray) and black. The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra on the other hand would only be entitled to two colors: black and silver.
Note that this looks more or less to what Let’s Go Digital announced, with a few nuances. These differences can be attributed to regional choices, not all countries benefiting from the same colors. This therefore does not allow conclusions to be drawn on the colors that will be available in France.
Always 108 Mpx
Finally, Android Authority corroborates by its source the previous information concerning the photo module of the Galaxy S21 Ultra. This should include a main sensor of 108 Mpx and two of 10 Mpx (including a telephoto x10). Although it is not specified here, a fourth 12 Mpx sensor should also be present.
See you in a month to learn all the details about the Galaxy S21.
