The Google Pixel 4a 5G is then available at the same price as in the others, or 499 euros for the 128 GB version.

Everything about the Google Pixel 4a 5G

The Google Pixel 4a 5G retains the same sobriety as the classic version of the smartphone for its design. We find the same plain polycabornate back and the same OLED screen displaying Full HD + definition and punched at the top left. However, the panel stretches this time to 6.24 inches and not 5.8, which results in a format a little less compact than the 4a.

This a little more imposing size however has advantages, starting with the battery which goes from a capacity of 3,140 mAh to 3,800 mAh for the Pixel 4a 5G. A significant gain in autonomy, but this is not the only element of the technical sheet that has just changed. This smartphone compatible with the network of tomorrow embeds a powerful Snapdragon 765G instead of the 730, the same SoC as the Pixel 5, all supported by 6 GB of RAM.

This is not the only similarity with his big brother. On the back of the phone, we find the same photo module equipped with two sensors: a main one of 12 megapixels (photosites of 1.4 µm, opening f / 1.7 and optical stabilization) and the other ultra wide-angle of 16 megapixels (107 degrees, photosites of 1 µm, and f / 2.2 aperture). It then keeps the promise to do just as well as the Pixel 5 in the photo, but for less, with a mode Night Sight (night vision) for night portraits or a mode Cinematic Pan for slow motion videos with dramatic effect.
