The DJI Osmo Action camera offers a cubic-shaped design similar to GoPro, but with a rather imposing lens. It has the particularity of integrating 2 screens, one at the front and one at the back, to have an overview of what you are filming in all situations.
An action camera worthy of the name has to be tough. For this, the Osmo Action is resistant to dust and water immersion (without a protective shell) up to 11 meters deep. A drop from a height of up to 1.5 meters should also not pose a problem, as should using it in extreme conditions down to -10 ° C.
Its device has a 1 / 2.3-inch sensor with a lens opening at f / 2.8 and offering an angle of 145 degrees. It allows you to capture 12-megapixel photos with the possibility of recording them in RAW format, as well as filming in 1080p or 4K at 60 frames per second with a bit rate of 100 Mb / s. The videos also benefit from HDR on 4K, but only at 30 frames per second. Its main asset is its excellent stabilization system called Rocksteady.
A 1300 mAh battery allows the camera to shoot for 1.5 hours in 4K at 30 frames per second with Rocksteady activated and 1h56 in 1080p without Rocksteady. With the two additional batteries, you can then use the camera for about 5 to 6 hours.
