The Xiaomi Mi 11 series will be officially presented in China on December 28. This family of products certainly contains the first smartphone (s) equipped with the Snapdragon 888.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 and the supposed Mi 11 Pro will most likely feature the Snapdragon 888, Qualcomm’s latest premium chip. We already knew that. In addition, we were already expecting an early presentation of smartphones.
However, it is only now that the brand officially confirms the presentation date of the Xiaomi Mi 11 series. On its Weibo account, the manufacturer indeed publishes a message giving an appointment on December 28 for the presentation of its flagship models from the start of 2021.
The image shared by Xiaomi even indicates the time of the event: 7:30 p.m. in China, or 12:30 p.m. in mainland France.
A presentation reserved for China a priori
Please note: everything suggests that the presentation in question will initially only concern the Chinese market. On the one hand, the Weibo social network is primarily aimed at Internet users from the Middle Kingdom, whereas an international event would have been entitled to a teasing on platforms like Twitter and Facebook.
On the other hand, Xiaomi is used to doing this. For Europe, we should therefore rather expect a presentation a few weeks later, in January most certainly. Following the Chinese event will remain interesting, however, because we will already be able to discover the important characteristics of the Xiaomi Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro.
Normally, there shouldn’t be a major change between these versions and the versions dedicated to the rest of the world.
