On June 2, Huawei has planned to launch new products under Harmony OS, among which should be the Huawei Watch 3. But some bloggers did not wait until then, as the Chinese news site spotted. IT Home, and posted photos of the Huawei Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro.

Beyond the design of the watches, which retain the round appearance of the Watch GT 2 – but only keep a crown on the right -, we see that these new watches run under Harmony OS, which allows us to have a first overview of the new operating system of the Chinese manufacturer.

In these pictures, we can distinguish the home screen, which would give the time, date and shortcuts to applications in one piece. In another image, we can see the notifications panel, indicating a missed call and messages on WeChat. A final photo shows the watch taking a measurement.

If we do not yet see the interior of the applications, we can already say that visually, Harmony OS should not upset the main lines of the Lite OS present on their previous watches.

As a reminder, Harmony OS aims to counter the American embargo which prevents Huawei from offering Google services on its devices. The idea is to have better control over its ecosystem and more easily convince developers to adapt their applications to this new OS. The stakes are also high: the Chinese giant is out of the top 5 smartphone manufacturers.

The OS takes its name, “Harmony”, from its desire to offer an ecosystem independent of Google and its ability to run on a large number of connected devices, which range from TV to computers, including connected watches. , like Google’s project with Fuchsia. Since December, with the launch of Harmony OS beta 2.0, smartphones have also been included in the equation.
