After a long wait, Amazon has finally revealed through a dedicated list the launch date of the OnePlus Nord 2 5G: it will be this July 22, 2021. This comes just after OnePlus officially confirmed the existence of the new Nord phone and will announce it along with an improved MediaTek SoC. The OnePlus Nord 2 will arrive as a successor to the OnePlus Nord that was released in July last year. The new smartphone is rumored to keep the screen design of its predecessor.
Amazon has listed the Nord 2 on a dedicated microsite. It does not offer any other details about the phone, although this listing clearly shows the release date.
“Join us on July 22 to officially introduce the OnePlus Nord 2 5G to our users in Europe and India,” reads a note on this same listing.
Earlier in the week, OnePlus confirmed the existence of the Nord 2 5G and announced that it would come with a MediaTek Dimensity 1200-AI SoC, a modified version of the existing Dimensity 1200 chip.
The smartphone will be available for purchase during the Amazon Prime Day deals in India.
