It’s the turn of the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro to be destocked

The OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro were already on sale at the very start of the 2021 winter sales, but now they’re even cheaper. They are found respectively at 499 euros (instead of 699) and 699 euros (instead of 899).

Following the ongoing destocking of the OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro at Fnac and Darty, other more current smartphones from the Chinese brand have also decided to sell at a discount.

On Amazon, you can now enjoy a reduction of 200 euros on the price of OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro.

The OnePlus 8 offers a totally borderless look with not a notch like its predecessor, but a punch at the top left of the screen. The 6.55-inch AMOLED panel is also of very good quality, HDR10 + compatible, and with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. On the back, there is a triple 48 + 16 + 2 megapixel sensor arranged in a rectilinear fashion, which takes very good shots in good conditions.

It is then powered by the Snapdragon 865 for high-end performance. It is still today one of the most powerful configurations in the Android sphere, which allows all 3D games to run in near optimal conditions. The user experience is obviously fluid, moreover very pleasant with the OxygenOS interface. Android 11 is also already available on this smartphone.

As for autonomy, it is there thanks to a 4,300 mAh battery. This allows it to easily hold more than the day, not to mention the fast charge up to 30 W to quickly recover percentages. However, there is no wireless charging on the horizon, as this feature is only reserved for its Pro version.

OnePlus 8 Pro

The OnePlus 8 Pro is a boosted version of the classic model, in almost every aspect. The design is identical between the two smartphones, but the format is here much larger in hand with a screen – still borderless and AMOLED – which goes to 6.78 inches and which displays a Quad HD definition. The refresh rate also rises to 120 Hz for exemplary fluidity. Even the photo is better off with four 48 + 48 + 8 + 5 megapixel sensors, for more versatility.

Once again, we find the powerful Snapdragon 865 supported by 8 or 12 GB of RAM, depending on the model chosen. This configuration makes it possible to meet all the uses that we may have of a smartphone in 2021, whether it is to require a perfectly fluid user experience on a daily basis (by abusing multitasking) or to play 3D games without slowdowns and in the best graphics conditions.

The 8 Pro is finally the first smartphone from OnePlus to offer compatibility with wireless charging, up to 30 W. This simply allows it to go from 0 to 100% in just one hour. Its autonomy is also very comfortable thanks to its 4,510 mAh battery. It is also compatible with fast charging for those who prefer wires.
