Everything you need to know about the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T retains the design of its predecessor with a trendy 6.53-inch Full HD + IPS LCD display borderless, without forgetting the small punch at the top left which is used to hide the front camera. It is also protected by Gorilla Glass 5.
On the back of the phone, there is a plastic surface that benefits from a special treatment to offer a textured effect to the touch, but also a better grip while more effectively avoiding fingerprints. We especially notice the positioning of the photo module in the Mi 10T Lite way with a circle surmounted by a rectangle with rounded sides.
The photo part, however, skips the ultra wide-angle, so there is no possibility of taking a picture with a wide shot. However, its triple 48 + 2 + 2 megapixel sensor still offers a macro mode and an improved portrait mode thanks to its depth sensor. It’s not going to revolutionize smartphone photography, but it seems like a good compromise for this price.
It is then powered by MediaTek’s SoC Dimensity 800U with 4 GB of RAM. The Chinese brand announces that this smartphone will be “up to 100% faster»Than the Redmi Note 8, while being compatible with 5G. This configuration promises to play the majority of 3D games, but not in the best graphics conditions, while enjoying a perfectly smooth user experience on a daily basis. The Redmi Note 9T is currently running Android 10, but should receive the new version of the OS from Google very soon.
A smartphone from the Redmi Note range would be nothing without good battery life. For this, Xiaomi decides to integrate a large 5,000 mAh battery inside its 9T. On paper, it can easily last two full days with intensive use, especially since it is compatible with fast charging up to 18 W.
