Realme has announced the arrival of its new software interface based on Android 11. The beta test phase of Realme UI 2.0 has just started and you can participate depending on the model of your smartphone.
Realme UI is the official interface for Realme smartphones. It’s a relatively young Android interface that is becoming more and more popular as the Chinese brand becomes more democratic.
What improvements for Realme UI 2.0?
This second frame introduces many new features. What we can say is that it has now really moved away from ColorOS (Oppo) unlike the first iterations.
This new version is based on Android 11 and offers many improvements regarding customization, with new colorful themes for dark mode, better integration of third-party launchers, modification of icons, fonts and mode. Always-On Display. That’s not all: Realme also talks about optimizations to improve the overall performance of the smartphone, both in terms of responsiveness and frame rate stability. You also have a gaming mode as well as the ability to open apps in floating windows.
How to test Realme UI 2.0?
According to a recent topic on the official Realme community forum, the Chinese company is offering a first phase of Realme UI 2.0 beta testing for the Realme 7i and the Realme 7 Pro. Users who wish to participate in the beta test can apply by going to the Software Update section of their device and tapping the option Trial version (Trial version). This method, which is described here, does not guarantee that you can access Realme UI 2.0. However, this is the only way to do it now. Also note that this is not a stable version.
In Europe, the situation is not the same as in India. Indeed, Realme UI 2.0 has already arrived on the Realme x50 Pro in India, but it is not yet the case in Europe. There is talk of a deployment in May 2021. The Realme 7 Pro and Realme 7i will logically be the next to receive a final version of Realme UI 2.0.
