The Honor 10X Lite arrives in France with a large battery and an attractive price, but without pre-boarded Google services.
Honor has just presented its new smartphone in France, the Honor 10X Lite. This one promises a tempting quality-price ratio around 200 euros. It relies in particular on a large autonomy with its impressive battery of 5000 mAh delivered with a fast charge of 22.5 W.
On the design side, nothing very surprising. Here we are entitled to a screen pierced with a center punch to house the selfie sensor. On the back, there is a quadruple photo module stored in the upper left corner in the vertical direction.
As for the rest of the features, in addition to the large battery capacity, here’s what to remember:
- 6.67 inch Full HD + IPS LCD display;
- Kirin 710;
- 4 Go of RAM;
- 128 GB of storage;
- rear camera:
- 48 megapixel main sensor (f / 1.8);
- 8 megapixel ultra wide-angle (f / 2.4);
- sensor with 2 megapixel macro lens (f / 2.4);
- 2 megapixel depth sensor (f / 2.4);
- 8 megapixel front sensor;
- Jack plug.
A smartphone without Google
Honor being in the same boat as Huawei, smartphones of this brand also suffer from the American embargo preventing them from using Google’s services. Thus, the Android experience of the Honor 10X Lite does not benefit from the Play Store and the suite of applications from the Mountain View firm.
Instead, here we have to rely on Huawei Mobile Services and the AppGallery application store.
Honor 10X Lite price and availability
The Honor 10X Lite is announced for the suggested price of 229 euros. However, it has an introductory offer offering a discount of 30 euros – to lower the price to 199 euros – and a Honor Band 5 sport offered at Fnac, Darty and Boulanger.
Two colors are available: black and green.
