Oppo is back for the spring with its three smartphones that will cover the entry, middle and high-end segments of the year 2021 respectively. A single figure changes compared to the predecessors: here are the Oppo Find X3 Pro, Find X3 Neo and Find X3 Lite available for pre-order.
Last year’s vintage was already very good, so much so that we even elected the excellent Find X2 Pro as being the best smartphone of 2020. Oppo is therefore back today with the long-awaited successors to the Find X range. Unsurprisingly, there are three: the Find X3 Pro, the Find X3 Neo and the Find X3 Lite.
Where to pre-order them?
Pre-orders are open today and run until March 29.
The recommended retail price of the Oppo Find X3 Pro is set at 1,149 euros for the version with 256 GB of storage. During the launch, an ODR allows you to obtain free of charge an Oppo Watch 46mm (worth 329 euros), a VOOCAir 45 W induction charger (worth 79 euros) and a Kevlar protective shell (worth 39 euros) in addition to the high-end smartphone.
The recommended retail price of the Oppo Find X3 Neo is set at 799 euros for the version with 256 GB of storage. With the same ODR, this time it is possible to get a free Oppo Watch 41 mm connected watch (worth 249 euros) in addition to the mid-range smartphone.
Finally, the recommended retail price for the Oppo Find X3 Lite is much lower than the others, namely 449 euros. For the purchase of this entry-level smartphone, you will still be entitled to Oppo Enco X wireless headphones (worth 449 euros) as a bonus.
Everything you need to know about the Oppo Find X3 Pro
The Oppo Find X3 Pro is the most premium smartphone of the three and you can feel it directly when you have the phone in your hand. It is a beautiful object, with exemplary finishes and a small dose of daring for its photo module at the back where the shell extends over it instead of making it a separate block. At the front, its screen takes up almost the entire surface, not to mention the curved edges. The 6.7-inch panel is also excellent, because AMOLED, QHD + and 120 Hz with a very high maximum brightness.
As a top-of-the-range Android smartphone in 2021, it obviously has to embed the most powerful chip at the moment at Qualcomm, namely the Snapdragon 888, here supported with 12 GB of RAM. It is a flawless configuration that meets all the uses that we can have of a smartphone these days. In terms of autonomy, the Find X3 Pro is entitled to a 4,500 mAh battery, compatible with fast charging up to 65 W and wireless charging up to 30 W.
For the photo, it has 4 photo sensors at the back: the main and the ultra wide-angle of 50 megapixels each, a telephoto lens of 13 megapixels (optical zoom x2 and hybrid x5) and a microscope lens of 3 megapixels. Yes, microscope. You can then put your smartphone as close as possible to your subject to see details that cannot be observed with the human eye. A surprising and unprecedented technology, but which may seem rather anecdotal.

Everything you need to know about the Oppo Find X3 Neo
The Oppo Find X3 Neo is a mid-range smartphone for the brand, but borrows a lot of elements from the premium segment. Looking only at its front panel, it is almost impossible to tell it apart with the Pro version. We find the same curved edges on the sides or the same arrangement for the punch in the screen. The format is however slightly a little smaller with a 6.55-inch panel, still AMOLED, but this time Full HD + at 90 Hz, even with HDR10 + compatibility.
That’s not all, since it also allows itself to integrate the chip that equipped many high-end smartphones in 2020, the famous Snapdragon 865 compatible 5G. Far from being obsolete, this configuration supported by 12 GB of RAM still works wonders, whether it is to browse the Internet fluidly or play 3D games in graphics pushed to the limit. It then embeds the same battery capacity as the Find X3 Pro, namely 4,500 mAh, but no wireless charging on the horizon, only fast charging up to 65 W.
No microscope for this Neo version of the smartphone, but all the same a great versatility provided by four photo sensors on the back: the main 50 megapixel lens, a 16 megapixel ultra wide-angle, a 13 megapixel telephoto lens (equipped with optical zoom x2) and a 2 megapixel macro lens. Quality should also be there in this price segment.
Everything you need to know about the Oppo Find X3 Lite
As its name suggests, the Oppo Find X3 Lite is a model with slightly more modest characteristics than its big brothers, but still interesting for an affordable price. The difference in design compared to the other two is immediately obvious, because here the screen is flat. It is still AMOLED with a refresh rate of 90 Hz, and a Full HD + definition.
We then find some similarities with its predecessor, the Find X2 Lite. It too is powered by the Snapdragon 765 G SoC with 8GB of RAM, but that’s no bad thing. This configuration is still very powerful to meet the majority of needs, without forgetting the compatibility with the 5G network. Autonomy is however a bit enhanced with a battery that goes from 4,025 mAh to 4,300 mAh. In addition, it also takes advantage of the fast charge up to 65 W to recover all its percentages in just 37 minutes.
Improvements are also to be noted on the side of the photo, with a main sensor that goes from 48 to 64 megapixels. But for the rest, we see the same composition with 8 + 2 + 2 megapixels. The Find X3 Lite is unlikely to be a champion in the field, but it should be more than enough for people who are not too demanding. On the front, a 32-megapixel front camera is dedicated to selfies.
