Do the Redmi Note 10 sign the big comeback of Xiaomi on the entry level?

Xiaomi unveiled four entry-level smartphones this week, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, Note 10S, Note 10 Pro and Note 10 5G. Four smartphones with very interesting price-performance ratios.

This week, Xiaomi struck a big blow by unveiling its new range of smartphones at affordable prices, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10. These are three smartphones that were presented this Thursday: the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, the Redmi Note 10S, the Redmi Note 10 Pro and the Redmi Note 105G.

Across the range, the features displayed by Xiaomi seem particularly interesting. On the classic Redmi Note 10, for example, we will find an Amoled screen, a 33 W fast charge and a Snapdragon 678 chip for a price of less than 200 euros. The Redmi Note 10S integrates a more powerful chip, the Helio G95, while the Redmi Note 10 Pro benefits not only from an Oled screen, but with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. For now, note nevertheless that only the French price of the classic Redmi Note 10 is known.

Still, Xiaomi seems to have hit a big blow with this new range. Some could see a comeback of the Chinese manufacturer on the entry-level market. Of course, Redmi smartphones have long been acclaimed for their value for money, but the company seemed to be resting on its laurels since the success of the Redmi Note 7. The Redmi Note 8 and Note 9 seemed a little lazier in their technical sheet. Above all, the arrival of new players like Realme – or Samsung’s return to entry level – seems to have given Xiaomi a boost.
