The cousin brand of Amazfit returns with a new connected watch with a classic design, the Zepp Z. Launched at the end of November, it notably benefits from an autonomy that can range from 15 to 30 days depending on use.

After a first Zepp E watch, the cousin brand of Amazfit has just unveiled its second connected watch model, the Zepp Z. Like the model launched last September, this new digital touch is distinguished above all by its very classic design.

The Zepp Z is a high-end connected watch with three buttons on the side, one of which resembles a crown. We will also find a bezel around the dial, as well as lugs to hang the brown leather strap offered with the watch. We will also find a 1.39 inch Oled screen displaying 454 x 454 pixels, i.e. a density of 326 pixels per inch with a screen mode always-on. The Zepp Z is also certified 5 ATM for its water resistance.

Regarding the functionalities, the Zepp Z aims to be a watch oriented towards recording health data and monitoring activity. In addition to the count of steps taken during the day, the watch also uses a heart rate sensor as well as a dedicated sensor for SpO2, i.e. the level of oxygen in the blood. Zepp however ignored the electrocardiogram that can be found on more and more high-end watches.

The watch nevertheless benefits from an integrated GPS to find the track of your workouts. The Zepp Z also allows you to monitor the quality of sleep, the level of stress and offers a system for assessing the overall health of users.

Finally, concerning sports monitoring, 12 modes are offered on the Zepp Z, from outdoor running to climbing, including skiing, open water swimming or indoor cycling.

The Zepp Z works on Android as well as on iOS with the dedicated application. It embeds a 340 mAh battery ensuring it on paper an autonomy of at least fifteen days in use. “Classic” and up to 30 days with one use “Base”.

The Zepp Z smartwatch will be commercially available at the end of November. It will be offered at a price of 349 euros.
